Veronica graduated in Economics from the University of Florence in 1998 and began her career at Arthur Andersen in 1999, where she worked as a manager and earned the PCAOB Accreditation.
From 2006 to 2012 she worked in Warnaco Group, which is specialized in the design, production, and distribution of clothing and accessories of Calvin Klein, where she held the position of European Internal Auditor & Risk Management Director.
In April 2012, Veronica joined Salvatore Ferragamo, where she held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Chief Insurance Officer, Chief Indirect Purchasing Officer and Sustainability Coordinator.
From 2016 to 2022, Veronica Tonini has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Ferragamo Foundation.
In 2019 she obtained at NY University (NYU Stern Executive Education) the certification of Sustainability Business Leader related to “Innovating for Competitive Advantage”.
Since December 2020 she has been Chief Sustainability and Strategy Coordinator.
Since 2021, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of B&C Speaker and President of the Control and Risk Committee. In addition, in 2021 Veronica joined NedCommunity and is a member of the Reflection Group “Board and sustainability a new leadership model for board members”.
