Cynthia Muffuh

Cynthia Muffuh joined the UN Global Compact Office in March 2022 as the Head of Human Rights and Gender. She is responsible for leading the human rights and gender work and articulating and delivering on the strategy and direction to support business align their strategies and operations with the Ten Principles, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 in the areas of human rights and gender.  She brings over 20 years experience leading global programmes on international development and social sustainability. Throughout her career she has worked across the private sector, non-profit and intergovernmental organizations engaging and working with stakeholders and partners on complex global issues. She is a dual qualified legal practitioner with a focus on International Human Rights Law. She is married with 2 children.
