Marco has more than 22 years of experience in Information Technologies and Services, driving innovation to harness the power of data and cloud to solve complex environmental, social and business problems. In his last role as EMEA Head of Strategic Collaborations at Hitachi Vantara, he is responsible for joint initiatives with Hitachi Energy and other Hitachi’s sister companies , defining and executing business strategies with a focus on business model innovation and leading-edge technology application.
Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Marco’s experience includes Strategic Thinking, Business Planning, Innovation Management, Service Management, Program and Project Management, Business Development, Entrepreneurial drive with Telco companies like Telecom Italia and T-Systems, System Integrators like Engineering Ingegneria Informatica and Unisys and several innovative start-ups.
Marco holds a MSc. in Telecommunications Engineering, an MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano Business School, and some executive education certificates from London Business School and INSEAD.
Marco represents Hitachi Vantara as a member of the Alliance of Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI).
